About Alejandro Leather

When you feel the supple embrace of the Alejandro Belt, you know that you will not be caught with your pants down!

Alejandro Leather is based in Eugene, OR and is mostly a 1 person operation though I do have a marketing director.

I started my leather working journey in early 2025 when a friend asked me to repair a leather thing he had. I had done leather “hackery” in the past especially in the SCA and went at the repair as best I knew.

Once I finished the repair I got to thinking how I could do it better and decided to make myself a belt. That lead to other belts and more belts and then stitched belts. Now a lot of folks in the Oregon Bus Club are rocking my belts as I worked to increase my skill.

Then I ran into a really neat crafter at my local Tandy Leather store who introduced me to leather marbling. After that, I never looked back. Marbling is the chosen way – for me at least.

Although we have never met, I owe a huge debt of gratitude to Nigel Armitage for the videos on the saddle stitch he has published. Without those, I would likely still be flailing with the quality of my stitching. He is a master craftsman and a great teacher. I hope to go to the U.K. and take a class from him at some point.
